Philosopher Clown
Date: -
Time:
Venue: Museum of Comedy

An evening of absurdist sketch comedy, comic monologue and mental breakdown, performed by seasoned writer-performer Peter Singer and his comedy collaborators.
Interactive comedy meets life coaching, with a twist of philosophic reflection and a strong element of clowning.
You are guests at a workshop where the audience are comedy students, producing assignments to be workshopped and dissected in the course of the show.
Sketches successively explore the themes of self-doubt, low self-esteem, anxiety, mid-to-late-life crisis, and nervous breakdown. All with top-level comic/philosophical analysis from the workshop's conveners.
The show is a pure comedic experience, bombarding the audience with a series of out-of-left-field comic sketches and routines. At the same time inviting them to join the performers as they plumb the depths – and the absurdities – of their own anxieties, their mental and emotional struggles and ridiculous dreams. Philosopher Clown – makes you laugh, makes you think …
