Well Done For Not Killing Yourself
Well Done For Not Killing Yourself is a raw, funny and emotionally chaotic one-man cabaret written and performed by Adam Rhys-Davies, best known as one half of horror-comedy duo The Twins Macabre.

Blending storytelling, music and dark humour, the show explores sexuality, identity and the alter egos we create to survive. Because everyone has one — the confident version, the reckless version, the version that says the things we’re too afraid to admit ourselves.

Across one hour, Adam wrestles with “Decadent,” his sharp-tongued, self-assured alter ego, as the two clash over memory, truth and self-acceptance. Sometimes it’s easier to tell your story when pretending to be someone else… even when that someone is still you.

Featuring reimagined songs tied to defining moments in Adam’s life, the show shifts between uncomfortable honesty, ridiculous comedy and unexpected joy. It’s messy, theatrical and painfully human.

At its heart, Well Done For Not Killing Yourself is a cabaret about surviving yourself — and finding humour, beauty and connection in the chaos of being alive. Because, like it or not, we only get one shot at this ridiculous thing called life.
